Stravinsky's 'Firebird Suite' inspired Year Three to compose poetry based on the Phoenix, which they decorated with phoenix images and colours. The children also enjoyed a collaborative task producing a life size phoenix. Year Three also planned and performed a dance to accompany this spectacular music wearing the masks they created.
