This week, we are painting our own faces onto a paper plate, or a large piece of card.
Ask your child to look at their face in the mirror and see all their features. Talk about eye colour, hair colour and length etc and ask them to paint their face as they see it.
You could help them mix colours to get exactly the shades they want to use.
Perhaps you could find some wool or string for the hair?
We will also be asking the children to say what they would like to be when they grow up and add this as a speech bubble to the painting.
You could use crayons, felt pens or collage materials if you prefer.
