We have enjoyed our first term settling in to the routine of school and devising and learning our Golden Rules. We have baked Gingerbread Men this term and enjoyed the story as well. The children have had lots of opportunities to learn more about themselves, including their senses, with tasting, feeling, smelling, hearing and seeing activities.
We have enjoyed being outside in our covered area, as well as exploring the Woodland Walk in our wellies.
We were lucky enough to have a visit from a baby this term. The children had lots of opportunities to ask questions and to see the baby moving and gurgling right on cue.
We held our Numeracy and Literacy Evening this term so thank you to the parents who were able to come and support this, and a big thank you for all the support you give your children to consolidate their school learning. The Phonics Workshop will be held next term with a date to follow.
PLEASE can we remind you about labelling clothes as we still have lots of unlabelled items during PE sessions.
We are looking forward to our new topic 'Celebration of Colour' and are very excited about our first Foundation Stage experience in the Explorer Dome as well as our Adventure Day.
